The Alamo has fallen! Santa Anna is chasing the Texian Army.
We’ll meet in the Alamo Courtyard for the tour launch and historical background of the events unfolding. Hotel check-out, mount your steed, and flee to Sequin for lunch. Visit the historical village and meet Juan Sequin. Load up and move out to Gonzales meeting at the Jail House Museum on the square.

Gonazles to Brenham
Sam Houston rallies the Texians!
We start at the Gonzales County Museum, to see the original “Come and Take It” cannon and honor the “Immortal Thirty-two”. We again flee eastward to gather at the Oak tree where Sam Houston rallied the Texians after the fall of The Alamo and learning of the Goliad Massacre. Proceeding on to Shiner, we stop at the brewery for BBQ lunch before continuing on to San Felipe to visit the Stephen Austin Colony museum & settlement remains. We hustle northward to overnight in Brenham.

Texas Signs Declaration of Independence from Mexico!
Our first stop is the Blue Bell Creamery in the morning, before proceeding on to Washington-on-the-Brazos where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed. Rennovations are taking place and we hope the Star of the Republic museum will be open. After a catered lunch, we continue fleeing to our overnight in New Caney.

Sam Houston Turns South to Attack!
From New Caney, we head east around Harris town, then south to take the Lynchburg Ferry (where Texians crossed) to San Jacinto. We’ll explore the battlefield, the theater, and monument museum, before an early afternoon closing banquet at the nearby Monument Inn. After the banquet, participants may depart for home or proceed on to the
AACA Central Divisional Meet in Galveston, Texas.
For those participants attending the Central Division Fall Meet at the Moody Gardens and Convention Center, Galveston, Texas please make your reservations through TBA.
