November 8th

We will be leaving the Walmart at State Highway 80 and Beltline Road on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.!  Current touring is through the back roads south of I-20 looping around Cedar Creek Lake.

We’ll stop for lunch at the excellent Bradford Café (https://bradfordcafetx.com/).

After lunch we will then have an exclusive tour of the American Freedom Museum in Bullard (there is an entry fee).

After the Museum stop, we’ll head directly to the hotel as it will be a long driving day.

You can certainly make a quick stop at the Kiepersol Winery award winning tasting room on your own, as it’s only minutes from Bullard.

We will bring in PIZZA to the hotel meeting room that night and will have tea and water available, with donations accepted. BYOL for the good stuff

November 9th

Saturday morning will be starting out early, driving to Henderson to experience the Syrup Festival (https://www.hendersontx.us/14/Heritage-Syrup-Festival ), with lunch on your own at the festival.

We’ll meet back at the parking lot and (hopefully) make a stop in New London to experience a privately managed museum. We will then tour back to the hotel with an optional visit to the Alex McCommas collection. The Group will be meeting together for dinner Saturday night.

Sunday morning we will be returning to Dallas by the most direct route or as you wish.
