2026 October AACA DFW Region – Winnsboro Fall Tour
Join us for a memorable fall weekend featuring the Autumn Trails Festival and Classic Car Weekend in Winnsboro, scenic East Texas back roads, fellowship with fellow classic-car enthusiasts, and plenty of food and fun.
Friday: A Scenic Journey East
Our tour begins with a breakfast brunch from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the home of John and Lynda, located at 4111 Pecan Orchard Drive in Parker. Since there will be no scheduled lunch stop, please plan to enjoy a hearty breakfast before departure.
We will leave John and Lynda’s home at approximately 11:00 a.m. and travel east along scenic back roads. Along the way, we will make a surprise stop before continuing toward Mineola.
In Mineola, Linda and Fred Cruz will welcome the group to their home for an ice cream social and snack stop—a perfect opportunity to relax, visit, and enjoy some refreshments.
From Mineola, we will continue to Sulphur Springs, where we will check into our hotel. Friday evening will feature a hotel-based meal, games, and an overnight stay, giving everyone time to unwind and enjoy the camaraderie of the group.
Saturday: Winnsboro and the Autumn Trails Festival
Saturday morning, we will join the Winnsboro Model A Ford Club parade into Winnsboro. After arriving downtown, we will park our classic cars and enjoy the sights and activities of the Autumn Trails Festival and Classic Car Weekend.
The festival will provide time to browse, visit, admire the participating automobiles, and take in the seasonal atmosphere of historic Winnsboro.
In the afternoon, our club will head out for a trail ride through the East Texas Piney Woods. The route will showcase the beauty of the countryside, with opportunities for fall leaf-peeping, relaxed driving, and enjoying the winding rural roads with friends.
After the trail ride, we will return to Sulphur Springs for dinner at a downtown restaurant. The evening will conclude with more fellowship, conversation, and fun back at the hotel.
Sunday: Optional Trail Ride
On Sunday morning, participants may join an optional trail ride led by the Winnsboro Model A Club. This provides one more opportunity to enjoy the East Texas countryside and spend time with fellow club members before heading home.
Afterward, participants may return on their own or travel home with others.
